White Family - Please accept my condolences on your loss. I first met Judge White when I was in the State's Attorney's Real Estate unit and had several matters in front of him. He was really an expert in the field and had a very considerate and polite way of doing business. After I was elected a judge myself during my first retention campaign I got roped in by Judge Funderburk into volunteering at the Chicago Marathon and for a number of years I would work the last water station with Judge White and we would compare running stories.

I worked with Judge White for over 25 years in the Tax & Miscellaneous Division. He was a man full of all kinds of stories. He would engage the attorneys and the staff with his stories, some of his stories were really interesting. He enjoyed tremendously being a Judge. If someone in the Tax & Miscellaneous division was having something a party, a funeral or anything you could always count on Judge White to show up, that is if he was not traveling, which was what most of his stories were about. We had that in common travel. He will be missed.
