ALEXANDRA BOCTOR-BISHAY December 22, 1915 November 28, 2009 Alexandra Boctor-Bishay (Teta) passed away peacefully on November 28, 2009 at the age of 93 years. Teta was born and resided in Alexandria, Egypt where she raised her family until relocating to North America to be closer to her children. Teta was a kind and loving soul who delighted in the company of friends and family, the flowers and even the snow, and the opportunity to speak French with many caregivers who brightened her days. She always had a smile and a nice word for everyone. Her profound faith in God bolstered her through the challenges of her last years. Teta is predeceased by her husband of 49 years, Aziz; two grandchildren, Hanan Ashamallah and Michael Boctor; her parents, four sisters and two brothers. She leaves behind her daughter, Dr. Iris Boctor of Alexandria, Egypt; and three sons, Dr. Makram Marcus Boctor (Marlene) of Saskatoon, Yehia Boctor (Liliane) of Huntsville, Alabama, and Moez Boctor of Alexandria, Egypt; grandchildren, Dina, Mona, Mira, Dalia, George, Alexander, Alexandra, Andrea, Audrey, Sarah and Youssef; and six great grandchildren. A Funeral Service will be held for Alexandra at St. Vincent of Lerins Orthodox Church, 821 Ave. E., N. on Saturday, December 5, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be held on the family estate in Egypt. The family wishes to thank the staff at Circle Drive Special Care Home for the exemplary care, kindness and attention shown to Alexandra during her stay there. We also wish to thank Dr. Joel Yelland for his excellent care and for making her last journey pain free, Dr. K. Haider and his team at the Cancer Clinic and Dr. Madhuri Singh who cared for her until her terminal illness.
