You will be dearly missed Alf. Although we didn't see a lot of each other, more so in the last few years, you were always very special to myself and Rod. Then you embraced our new brother Gordon in the past 12 months and made a mark on him as well.

You always said something special to me whenever I visited, and that last day I saw you in hospital you said "you look lovely in red". Thank you Alf for being such a lovely man...we need more of you in this world.

I hope that there is another world where our loved ones will be waiting for us and that you meet up with my beautiful man Graeme. You were both very similar in making other people feel special. Love always Vicki (niece).

I agree with my Sister Sharee as to our Daddy's last few days and thanks for being our Dad.
Sadly Dad will be missed by a great many people right across Australia and abroad. During Dad's travels across this great land he made so many friends and everyone he touched will feel a great loss. From the tip of Cape York to outback Australia and down to Tassie Dad's memory will live on!
Daddy there's a hole in my heart now that you've gone, but I know you'll be looking over myself & Brett and all the family every moment of every day.
He was one of the most beautiful people that had ever been put on this earth. But now he's out of pain and suffering and hopefully somewhere watching the broncos on a big TV and looking over his wonderful family that's been left behind, one day to join him wherever he is. It really makes you think how short life is and to lead life to the fullest, love your family, love your friends and always be happy with a smile on your face....that's something you would have said Dad! I know that everbody who ever met Dad knew what a genuine and loving Father, Grandfather and mate he was.
Love you Daddy! Your Little Girl Denise xxxxx

As time seems to roll on relentlessly we seem to fondly remember the times when we were young more and more. Great memories of times in the Isa,the Towers the smiling Uncle and Aunt just dropping in to my home in Orchid Street all those years ago..It doesn't seem than long ago, maybe its not..Memories last for ever.. the memories we leave in behind in others continue last forever that is for sure.
Rest in peace Alf, Say hi to others when you see them.regards Peter and Gaye Newey

If only I could give my dad another hug. I will miss my beautiful dad, I wish I could kiss him again. I love you sooo much. Dad, I'm so glad that our family were able to be there right to the end with you, helping you, taking care of you so that you could go peacefully without anymore pain. Why should such a lovely, kind man have had to suffer. Love you Daddy's Girl, Shareedree xxxxoooo

"Take care of yourself", The last words he spoke to me.
He was always looking out for everyone else before himself. He will always be remembered by those who loved him.
