Hi Uncle Al,
I’m sitting here in NY with rain coming down and thinking of you and Aunt Martha, you both are sorely missed.
What a beautiful couple.
I miss you both.
You were both such beautiful souls inside and out.
When me and my sister’s speak of you guys, it is always with such beautiful memories.
Thank you for all of those memories from Coney Island to Boca Raton.
Love, The Doyle Girls

Just (Jan, 2021) saw this about Al Daula's passing. I met Al and Martha for the first time at their San Jose home when I was invited to visit by Linda. The last time I saw Martha was at their Connecticut home when I brought my newly wedded wife to visit. I was en route to my first overseas posting with the US Army. Martha suggested we stay for dinner as she was about to start cooking. She did not tell us she decided to make London Broil for us. After about half an hour with still no food on the table, we told Martha we had to leave without dinner as we had to get back to Fort Hamilton. Martha felt awful and I felt awkward. To this date I have not forgotten the moment when we said goodbye that evening. That was the last time we saw the Daula family. Al was a good kind man with a gentle soul. His legacy will live on and I am grateful to be benefited by his advice and counsel regarding my "budding career" when I graduated from college.

Even though I have not seen Al and Martha since they moved from Connecticut, I remember Al as being kind and generous and a man whose family knew they were all loved. You will be missed Al and God has you at peace now.

A dear friend for over 40 years, decent , kind and generous. Not as good looking as me, but almost...The world is a lesser place without him. Our sincere condolences to you Martha and your family.

Aunt Martha, Cousin Linda and Tommy
I am very sorry to hear of Uncle Al's Passing. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. He was an incredible man. I will never forget being a small boy visiting your house in Ct. I was so impressed by Uncle Al's office. On his desk there was a plaque that read his name. I remember thinking to myself I want to be a strong powerful man like Uncle Al one day with my name written out and displayed on my desk. I remember seeing his shiny Lexus in the garage, again saying to myself when I am older I want an amazing car like that. Every year growing up Uncle Al and Aunt Martha would send us money for Christmas. We all would look forward to seeing the Daula name on the return address. The last name Daula signified a strength of character to me, a feeling of pride, a sense of accomplishment. Uncle Al you showed us what being a Daula was all about. I hope you are proud of all of us DAula's as you look down from heaven. You are with your brother Pepe again and all your sisters I am sure having a great laugh. You will be greatly missed. Love your God Son Gary
