Alfonso P. Tomp

Alfonso P. Tomp was born on September 5, 1941 in Los Angeles, California to parents Alfred and Cecilia Tomp. He joined the military at a young age, serving in the United States Marine Corps. After leaving the Marines, Al started having children. He ended up having 5 sons, Billy, Rick, Jeff, Ron, and Al Jr., and in turn 4 grandchildren. Al enjoyed life by going to the beach, having fun with friends and family, and he was always the life of the party. Even though he didn't often show his feelings, he genuinely did care for everyone especially his family. At the end of his life, Al did not want to burden friends and family with his illness. He wanted everyone to remember him the way that he was and we are sure that he is looking down on us with a smile. Al passed away on March 21, 2018 in Glendale, Arizona. The Tomp family would like to say thank you to everyone for their support during this sad time.
