Grube Pharmacy at Northgate was also my first job. Al (or Mr. Grube as we respectfully addressed him) always had a kind smile and gentle way about him. I just found out about his passing when I was reviewing my father's guest book this morning. My deepest sympathy to Mary and the family.

Mary and children,
I have fond memories of your family from the sweetest days of my youth, on South Center St. Then meeting Al in later years, I felt happy for all of you to have this patient, intelligent, loving and caring man in your lives. His humor and interesting story-telling charm is what I will remember most. God Bless Al and your family at this time of loss. Hello to Teresa, Tom, John, and Dan!!
With love and comfort, Steven and Patty (Schultz) Yde and Family

Going to Grube's Pharmacy..nothing beat it! Seeing Al Grube there was always a secure feeling. It truly is a "warm feeling" thing of the past. Thoughts are with the family.

As a former Grube Pharmacy employee I remember the Lyerly Seminars. I believe that through that program Mr. Grube wanted all of us to know that in everything we did we made a difference--well Mr. Grube it was you who made the difference, thank you for the experience. My sincere sympathy to you Mary and family

Dear Liza, and your family, so sad to hear about his passing. I read about your Dad. What a wonderful life! Know that he is better place, for all the good he did for your family and many others. Been a long time since I talked to you. Someday we should talk, when things get more peaceful
God bless

To my Stepfather: I remember the very first time we met like it was yesterday. I could tell instantly that you were a very special man. Having you in my life changed it profoundly. You accepted myself and my siblings as if we were your own. You took a sincere interest in all of our lives. The love you and my Mother shared was nearly palpable. You both were truly put on this Earth for each other. "Dad2" you may never know the full extent of the love I had/have for you. You were the epitome of a most wonderful Husband, Father and friend. I have thanked God EVERY day since you entered my life and shall do so until the day I die.
I will miss you as much as any man has ever missed his Father. I know in my heart and in my soul that Heaven is truly a more blessed and special place with you there.
With all my Love,
Your son Jonathan

Dear Mary,
No one else can fully know what you have
lost; a partner, a best friend and soul-
mate; a safe haven from the worries of the
world.
Alfred was a very good man. You were
blessed to have built a wonderful life
during your thirty-two years together.
In time, may that bring true comfort
and peace to you and to all your family.

My heart goes out to you and your family, Mary Lee, but I know you will take great comfort in the wonderful memories of the life you shared. Alfred was a warm and special man, and I am so glad he was part of our family for so many years. He will be missed, but not forgotten. Already he is brightening the corners of heaven.
