Alfred Mandoli Obituary

MANDOLI, Alfred John Died suddenly at home on Tuesday, May 16 in his 68th year. He was cherished by his children Nicola (Robert Landry), Mark (Monique) and Michele, he is mourned by his loving wife Ruth Luettig, and he was a proud grandfather to Stephanie and Sofia. Fred's full career was spent in Canada's Armed Forces, culminating as a Chief Warrant Officer following postings in Canada, U.K and Germany over a span of 37 years. He was a long-time active volunteer and supporter of the Special Olympics. As he requested, he has been cremated, and his ashes will be scattered over the family's lakeside property. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 200-1900 Merivale Road, Ottawa ON K2G 4N4. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Church, 194 Fourth Avenue at Percy Street, Ottawa at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 20th, 2006.
