Alfred Thompson, 86, of Upper St. Clair, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on November 9, 2018. Beloved husband of Bonnie Thompson, recently celebrating their 63rd wedding anniversary. Loving father of Bob (Pam), Bill (Karen), Tom (Louise) and Sheryl (Randy) Langlois; loving grandfather of Lindsay (Mike) Joyce, Jenny (Andrew) Givens, Jamie (John) Roberts, Todd, Katie, Paige, Erin Thompson and Maddie, Jake and Mackenzie Langlois; proud great-grandfather of Tripp, Liam, Lizzy, Nolan and Lucy. He enjoyed a successful career at PPG Industries spanning over 33 years. Upon retirement, he was Chairman of the SCORE chapter of Pittsburgh, helping entrepreneurs grow their business. Al thoroughly enjoyed golfing with his family, and celebrated his 70th birthday with a hole in one. Al will most be remembered for his strong faith and his love for family.
