Alfreda Makwinski Obituary
She is predeceased by her parents, Genevieve and Louis; her husband, Henry J. Makwinski; her granddaughter, Taylor Slomko; sisters, Jean Mattei and Mary Makar; and four brothers, Anthony, Walter, John and Edward. Alfreda is survived by her children, Mark (Laurie), Kathleen Slomko (Frank), Scott (Lisa), Kenneth (Stacey) and Matthew (Theresa); grandchildren, Kenny Jr. (Betsy), Mark (Christina), Alyson (Heather), Zachary (Nichole), Jason, Kaitlyn, Alex, Justin, Ryan, Marissa and Abigail; two great grandchildren, Aubrey and Emma; sister-in-laws, Florence and Joan Wawrzynski; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be on Monday, January 31, 2022 starting at 9 AM at Synowiecki Funeral Home, 56 Carteret Ave. in Carteret. Mass will be at 9:30 AM at Divine Mercy Parish-Holy Family Church in Carteret, followed by Interment at St. Gertrude Cemetery in Colonia. Visiting hours will be on Sunday, from 2 PM to 5 PM.
