Of Riverside Road, Simsbury, CT, died Sunday October 6, 2002 at McLean Home in Simsbury, CT. She was born April 1, 1917 in Danvers, MA, daughter of the late George B. and Minnie (Dreisel) Miller and had lived in Feeding Hills, MA prior to moving to Simsbury 42 years ago. She attended the Vesper George School of Art in Boston, MA. Mrs. Force was employed as a data processing specialist for the State of Connecticut Motor Vehicle Department in Wethersfield, CT for 19 years prior to her retirement in 1977. She was a member of the First Church of Christ in Simsbury, CT and the Covenant Presbyterian Church in West Simsbury, CT. She is survived by a daughter, three sons, two daughters-in-law and one son-in-law, Ronald M. and Kimberly Force of Otis, MA, Richard D. and Patricia Force of West Springfield, MA, Charles Force of Hartford, CT, Alice A. and William F. Phillips of Hartford, CT; a brother, George Miller of Watertown, MA; five grandchildren, Keith and Jason Force, Brett, Robin Cary-Pedace and April Cary and two great grandchildren, Stephanie and Katelyn Force. There are no calling hours. Graveside funeral service and burial will be TODAY, October 9, 12:30 p.m. at the West Parish Cemetery Chapel, 129 Reservation Road, Andover, MA with the Rev. Doug Rowsc officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Parkinson Disease Association, CT Chapter 27 Allendale Drive, North Haven, CT 06473.
