To the Gaston family: Alice was such a gentle, good person. It was a pleasure to have known her and worked with her for many years at Burns Harbor. I retired in 1991 but often thought and asked about her through the years. Her jplace in Heaven was assured!

To Mr. Clarence Gaston and Family,
May God keep and comfort you during this trying time. I will always remember "Mama" Gaston's smile, support, and encouragement since our acquaintance at Christian Valley. I will miss her warm expressions in and out of church, but especially when she entered the Valley and I greeted her on Sunday mornings. It was something about the "Hey baby, how you feeling?" that warmed my heart.
Blessings and beautiful memories.

With deepest sympathy to Alice's family. I knew her from our years at Bethlehem Steel. She was a good person.
