Alice Marie Kendall

Alice Marie (Finn) Kendall passed away unexpectedly on May 21, 2024, in Walton, KY, at the age of 66.

Lura Rasnake and Maurice William Finn, Sr. was extremely blessed when their first handful of joy was brought into this crazy world on March 10, 1958.

Alice was raised in Indianapolis for the first part of her younger years. She loved being the big sister to her 3 siblings, who she always referred to as "her babies".

She moved to Kentucky in her late teens, where she ended up meeting the love of her life, William Ray "Bill" Kendall.

People used to laugh at Alice since it seems like she was always surrounded by gentlemen named "William". However, Alice said her and Bill had the last laugh when then married on April Fools Day, 1978.

Alice then made her next major dream happen when she gave birth to her miracle baby - Jennifer Rose.

Alice enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Alice's hobbies included playing Kingdom Hearts, engaging in various games on her phone, and expressing her gratitude and love to those around her. She was known for telling everyone how blessed she felt to know and love them.

Alice was always there when needed and would tell everyone she loved them and prayed for them. Her faith was a major part in her life and she had no doubt at all that she would be reuniting with everyone she loved who passed prior to her, as well as all her furbabies, when it was her time to enter the Golden Gates of Heaven. She promised that if she went first, she would be the welcoming committee for future family, friends, and furbabies. Anyone who ever had the pleasure of receiving an Alice "bear hug" can guarantee they will have one again someday.

Alice was preceded in death by her parents, Lura Rasnake and Maurice William Finn, Sr., her husband, William "Bill" Kendall, and her sister, Teresa Whitehouse.

Alice is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Rose (Dylan) Hofacker, and her brothers, Maurice (Ricki) Finn, Jr. and William Finn. Brother-in-laws: Hank Kendall, Kenny Kendall, and Marty (Melissa) Peach. Sister-in-laws: Betty Sue McKinney and Bonnie Jean (Joe) Kendall. She also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and friends who she considered adopted family.

A celebration of Alice's life will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2024, at 2:00 pm at the Spray Park of Lawrenceburg (Splash Pad), located at 725 W. Broadway St., Lawrenceburg, KY 40342.
