MATHESON, Alice Peacefully in hospital Sunday August 17, 2003 with the love of her family and friends. Alice Hill in her 81st year. Beloved mother of Meralyn June, Mary-Anne, Maureen and the late Muriel. Loving Nana of Taylor, Julia and Johnny. Dear sister of Violet Whitmore and Roland Hill, both of England and Tommy Hill. Daughter of the late Thomas and Alice Anne Hill. Predeceased by her brother Derek; her sisters Rose and Nell and by her former husband William James Matheson. Lovingly remembered by Malcolm Gibson, Grace and Garth Pearce and Kenneth and Janet McClymont. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Friends may pay respects at the Kelly Funeral Home, 2370 St. Joseph Blvd., Orleans, Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service Friday in the Chapel at 1 p.m. In memoriam donations to The Canadian Hearing Society or the War Amps appreciated.
