This space is too small to capture what Alice meant to me. My love and prayers to Alice's family, Eli and her friends that were so important to her.
Alice and I were inseparable during a time in our lives-we roomed together and shared every joy and every heartache. She was a treasure to all those who came in contact with her. She gave my daughter her first haircut and kept all of us looking good-Alice was a giver. Good food, beautiful artistry-My Christmas tree every year is topped by the soft sculptured angel made by Alice at least 30 yrs ago. Alice supported me through my spiritual journey till I landed in the place I needed to be and then we parted ways. Now I rest in faith knowing that my Lord and Savior has her in His arms-no more pain, no more tears. Until we meet again Alice-forever in my heart.

I miss you Alice!! We had fun growing up and playing Barbie. When I was in 10th grade you cut and colored my hair and did my makeup. You always were artistic!!!!
You made me feel confident and told me I was good enough no matter if my mom found fault with me. You were like a momma bear! Love you!!

Dear Eli,
Your loss of Alice is felt by all her friends. She was such a special lady who taught me how to live and i loved her for that. This picture is so perfect. The beautiful textiles and recipes she has left behind are a tiny part of her legacy. But you were her greatest treasure. My heart is with you,Eli.
