Louise Barry Obituary
CHARLOTTE-Dr. Louise Barry, of Charlotte, died peacefully on Oct. 25, 2016, at the age of 92.
She was born to Blaine and Piety Spears in Appleton, Arkansas, on April 22, 1924,
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 29, 2016, at Southminster's Great room, 8919 Park Road, Charlotte, NC 28210, with a reception immediately following hosted by her family.
Arrangements by Harris Funeral Home in Kings Mountain.

As a resident of the Sulgrave-Regency in Kansas City, I met Dr. Barry and admired her. She opened her lovely apartment to other residents one Saturday afternoon, and I was able to visit with her about her life. I enjoyed so much hearing about her path in higher education because I, too, shared a similar path. Dr. Barry was surely a dignified, elegant, and refined lady who exuded culture and graciousness. Her children and all the rest of her family have my condolences; your mother most surely lived a fine life.

So sorry for your loss. What a good long, long life Louise enjoyed. So many cannot say the same. She was one of those the Bible call especially, especially strong.

I am very sorry for your loss. Times like these are never easy. A time to remember all the good times and draw closer to family and God. Knowing that our faithful loved ones that have passed and are in God's memory gives much comfort. Malachi 3:16 May those words help you as they have me.
