Years and miles have separated us, but the friendship and times spent with Alice and Evans has remained a special part of our heartfelt memories. We cherish the memories of the wonderful field trips with the Archeology Club, community activities of Iraan and the United Methodist Church. Alice was a beautiful and loving lady in numerous ways. Evans, may you and your family know the comfort, peace and love of God which passes all understanding as you mourn the loss of a wife, mother and grandmother that you loved so dearly. You are in our prayers. Ken and Dorie Thoma

We first met Alice and Evans in 1977 when we came from Illinois to Iraan. Our children remember trick or treating at their house. After being gone for about 10 years we went back to Iraan in early 1991 after a trip down to Red Bluff. As usual Tom had fallen in the river. Upon stopping at Turpins house I still remember Alice and Evans (I think Evans was snickering) to make us feel comfortable about arriving at their house with Tom soaked to the waist. We will miss Alice and send Evans and family our love, prayers and sympathy. Tom and Judy
