Alice Wheelock Obituary
Born November 20, 1909 in Bedford, OH, she was the daughter of the late Howe G. Wheelock and Elva Baker Wheelock. She was 93.
Miss Wheelock attended Mamaroneck High School; graduated from Penn Hall and graduated from Wellesley College in 1932. She was the former executive secretary to the chairman of the Rayonier Corporation until her retirement in 1974. She was a member of the Larchmont Avenue Presbyterian Church.
Miss Wheelock is survived by a niece, Anne Wheelock of Boston, MA, a nephew, Peter Wheelock of Darien, CT, and three grandnephews, John, David and Matthew also of Darien, CT.
She is predeceased by one brother, Howe G. Wheelock.
Services and interment will be private. The Edward Lawrence Funeral Home, Darien, CT handled the arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Wellesley College, Wellesley, MA 02482.
