Becky, Jim and Amy~
So sorry to hear of the passing of your Mom. She was a very good friend. Sharing the best Polish recipes with me, tips on sewing, and just being a good listener. She will be remembered.

I volunteer at the Surgery Lounge at Sparrow Hospital. Families are in a twilight zone as they worry and pray for their Loved One. Occasionally, the PA System plays "Brahms' Lullaby". They play it when a baby is born there. It's a soothing reminder of the Cycle of Life. It is one of my earliest memories as a toddler. We would go over Aunt Alice's to see her, Uncle Ray, their mother (I have no idea how to spell "Chucha"), and Aunt Clara. I would be spellbound by a porcelain lady music box that played "Brahms' Lullaby". Whe I was about 10, Aunt Alice and Uncle Jim taught me how to play Bridge. Other kids my age were playing "War". I really enjoyed going over to ttheir house in Becksville. I've barely seen the family since the move to Hershey. I do have fond memories. May she Rest in Peace. May the Perpetual Light Shine upon her.

I am so glad that I had an opportunity to speak with Alice a couple of days before her passing. Her voice was strong and she recognized who I was. She told me to call her back since she was dealing with a medical issue. I was getting ready to go to visit her when I read Amy's FB posting. Rest in Peace Alice!
