Alice Ann Wright

Alice Ann Wright died peacefully April 7, 2016 in Rockville, Maryland. She was 85. Mrs. Wright was born May 5, 1930 in Cleveland, Ohio to her parents John and Anna Perkowski. She was a talented seamstress at Ann's Vogue Shop for many years. She married James Wright in 1960. Mrs. Wright was a devoted wife and mother. They moved the family to Hershey, PA in 1971. After her husband's sudden passing in 1976, she dedicated all her energy to her four children. Mrs. Wright enjoyed several years in sunny Albuquerque, New Mexico before accepting a government job in Maryland. She retired from a successful career in 1992. After retirement, Ms. Wright enjoyed traveling and spending time with her children, grandchildren and friends. Mrs. Wright is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Wright of Centennial, Colorado; her son James Wright, Jr of North Glenn, Colorado; her daughter, Amy Linderman of Ellicott City, Maryland and her five grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, James; her son, Randall; her brother, Ray Perkowski and her sister, Loretta Smiechewicz. A memorial viewing and Mass will take place April 14, 2016 at 10 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Parish in Gaithersburg, Maryland. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Ms. Wright's life. Ms. Wright will be buried in a private ceremony on April 15, 2016 in Hershey, PA beside her beloved husband and son.
