Eight years have gone by, but it seems like yesterday. That day is vivid in my mind, my heart and soul and will be forever. I know you are watching over lil CC, she is beautiful, she reminds me of you, always into everything. Rest in peace!

Not a day goes by that you are in my thoughts, I am missing your laughter, jokes specially your phone calls. We were once asked if we were twins and we laughed and said yes. For we have gone through so much things alike in our life. More than a friend you were a sister to me. I thank you for your love , friendship, but most of all for your love. Your laughter and love will always remain in my heart. My dearest friend I will never say GOOD BYE BUT UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN. GOD HAS TAKEN HIS WONDERFUL ANGEL TO BE WITH HIM THANK YOU GOD AND HOPE YOU HAVE MANY LAUGHS WITH MY WONDERFUL SISTER ALIDA. My older sister,
You were the first daughter on this earth and the first daughter to go with Mami & Papi. I felt such pain in my heart the moment you left, but I know it was better me than Lillian or Aaliyah. Lil - I struggle with words to say. I was so so sorry to hear of Alida's passing. She was a wonderful and warm hearted person. I enjoyed the little time that I knew her. She was such fun to be around and you could just feel the love she had for her family. And boy could she cook!!! She will surely be missed but she will live on through all of the lives she touched especially her children and grandchildren. I will never forget her beautiful smile and laugh. Rest in peace Alida.

I knew Alida through her grandaughter Aaliyah's daycare. She was always such a kind, cheerful, and loving person.
