Omg I am just reading this. She was a wonderful lawyer and friend. My condolences to Leonard and her two daughters: Nicole and Jessica. My daughter moved in with me at 18 and she helped me during the process.

She was a determined law student, who proved herself in the end by a long, honorable career practicing family law in the Bronx.

This photo shows Alina Rosenthal as she would best wish to be remembered: as a woman who fought and won in courts for women and for families.

I knew Alina as a fellow student back at New York Law School in loser Manhattan in 1978. We were close friends for awhile. She was a smart woman and proved a good lawyer. She was also a woman who knew the importance of dress and appearance and dressed very well. My deepest sympathies to her husband and children.

Our hearts are heavy as we think of Alina and the blessing she was to us. There are no words to express our sorrow for her leaving so sudden and so early. She was a special woman, full of love and care for another people. We miss her and we will always remember her.
