She was born in Lowell, May 19, 1926, daughter of the late Augustine and Maria (Cote) Mainville. She attended Lowell schools.
Mrs. Michelin was a communicant of the former Notre Dame de Lourdes Parish.
She enjoyed sewing patchwork quilts, making Aunt Jemima toaster dolls, as well as clothing and draperies. She also loved collecting knickknacks, music, playing games and cards, spending time with her family and friends, and taking care of grandchildren.
She is survived by four daughters, Theresa Morin of Dracut, Claire, Diane and Pauline Michelin, all of Lowell; a son and daughter-in-law, Omer and Sandy (Norman) Michelin of Orange; nine grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by a sister, Rose Wilson of Ithaca, N.Y.; a brother and sister-in-law, Norman and Laura Mainville of Freeport, N.Y.; a cousin, Gloria Fisher of Scranton, Pa.; a stepbrother, Henry Mainville, residing in New York.
She also leaves several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was also the sister of the late Omer and Edward Mainville, and stepsister of the late Hector Mainville.
