COSGROVE, Alison Mabel (nee Chown). Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family after a lengthy illness on December 29, 2006. She is pre-deceased by her husband, Dr. J.B.R. (Bert) Cosgrove. She was the beloved mother of Gillian (Ray Heard), Ryal (Jill Morton), and Rees (Karen Roche). She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren, Kathryn, Priscilla, and Martha Cosgrove, Jennifer Heard, and Nicolas Cosgrove. Many thanks to her devoted caregivers, especially Sonia Cerbo and also Salve, Remi, Aida, Salome, Rolinda, Michelle and the caring staff of St. Margaret's. Visitation between 2 and 4 p.m. Sunday December 31, 2006 at Collins Clarke MacGillivray White at 5610 Sherbrooke St. West, Montreal. Alison taught us all lessons in human kindness, dignity and grace. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Dr. J.B.R. Cosgrove MS Research Fund, Montreal Neurological Institute Development Office, 3801 University St., Montreal, Quebec H3A 2B4. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
