MEEHAN - Alison Margaret Meehan suddenly passed away on Friday, December 29, 2006. Born on April 8, 1957 in Cupar, Saskatchewan, Alison attended the Cupar School, graduating in 1975. Alison attended the University of Regina, earning a B.A. and a B.Ed (Dist.). Alison worked for over twenty five years for the Dept. of Social Services in Regina. She was a Junior Computer Systems Analyst at the time of her passing. Everything that Alison did in her life was done with excellence, integrity, and determination. She will be very much missed by her family, friends, and work associates. Alison was predeceased by her father Gerald Joseph Meehan in 1982. She will be greatly missed by her mother, Mary; brother and friend Richard; brother Sean and sister-in-law Debby, niece Alicia and nephew Matthew; sister Cathy and brotherin-law Ronald Hromek, nieces Jennifer and Joyelle and nephews Jonathan and Joshua. The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, January 4th, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Lee Funeral Home, 3101 Dewdney Avenue, with Rev. Bob McKenzie, celebrant. Interment will follow at the Cupar Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. Anyone wishing to make a donation in memoriam can do so to the charity of one's choice. Arrangements are in the care of LEE FUNERAL HOME 757-8645

My thoughts are with you Mary, Richard, Sean and familes on this sad and unexpected occasion.
I remember the last visit to Regina with Gramma Iva, my mom and I. Tea and cookies are always an important part of the visit with Allison and Mary.
Will miss her sense of humour, her collection of stuffed animals and her caregiving nature.

I worked with Alison at Social Services for about 4 years before moving to Ontario. I was shocked and saddened to hear of her passing and wanted to send my heartfelt sympathy to her family in this most difficult of times. She will be missed by all who knew her.
