When someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure. ( a/u)
We were greatly saddened to hear of Al's passing. He brought so much joy to so many people by way of his humour, love, and generosity. Our condolences to Anna, Sarah, and family.
Rest in Peace, Alistair. Never forgotten and always loved.

My husband and I were especially saddened to hear about Al's passing. He was the kind of person that, even haven't seen him in the years since he moved to Regina, we thought of him often and with fondness. We missed him when he left, and we miss him even more now. Our condolences to his wife and family.

It is always difficult to find words to express our sincere condolences to you Ann and your family and to Liz and her family in circumstance such as this where a loved one is taken from us in an untimely fashion. Hopefully you can get some comfort from the knowledge that you are in our thoughts and prayers and those of many people on your great loss. Having known Alistair for many years, we have many happy memories of him. One that comes to mind is his love of his mother's " Dumpling Pudding " and the friendly competitive spirit he showed to ensure that he received that little bit more than his father, uncle and cousins.
Alistair will be truly missed by everyone.

My heart goes out to Ann and the family, though I only knew you the last few days of your life I know you were loved very much. It was a pleasure to meet you and your lovely family.

I always enjoyed working with Alistair-he had a twinkle of mischief in his eye and a solid sense of humour. But he was a good sounding board and anoassionate advocate for workers . His pride in his union was evident and he was a good friend. Ann and family, I am truly sorry for your loss.

I appreciated the friendship Alistair extended, even to those of us on the "other side" of the bargaining table. He was a kind-hearted man with a warm and inclusive manner, and a calm and reasonable approach that made him well-respected. I miss, and will continue to miss, working with Alistair. My condolences to his family.
