Aliyah D'Iorio Obituary
Aliyah, the life of the party here on earth, is now continuing to spread all her joys in heaven. Although she was with us for far too short of a time, her impact will always remain with the many lives she has touched. Aliyah was constantly smiling, befriending anyone who was lucky enough to meet her. She could light up a room with little effort, no matter where she went. Aliyah cared deeply, extending her love beyond family and friends, especially with children. She was blessed with a very affectionate and nurturing disposition. Her energy was contagious, as she was the definition of a "social butterfly". Aliyah extended her love of life in many ways. Aside from lifting the spirits of everyone around her, she was also encouraging in sports and dance. Currently training for a varsity soccer goalie position, Aliyah was a valuable teammate for The Lakeview Huskies. She was also on the Lakeview High School dance team, the "Huskettes". And when she had the down time, Aliyah would take comfort in the simple things in life, like music and enjoying the company of family and friends.
A vibrant, beautiful and talented life gone too soon, Aliyah's memory will forever linger in the hearts of all those who loved and cared for her. She will be missed beyond measure.
Aliyah was the cherished daughter of Mara, sister of Angelina, Eliana and Ava and cousin of Samantha. Loving niece of Nicole & Jason Gibson. Beloved granddaughter of NaNa Peggy and TaTa Tony (Lori). Also survived by her father Christopher and Grandma Denise, Great Grandmother Zippy and uncles Mike and Tony. Along with other close family and friends, Aliyah leaves behind her boyfriend, Chris Kreger.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 3pm until 9pm and on Thursday from 3pm until 9pm with a Rosary Service at 7pm at Kaul Funeral Home, 28433 Jefferson Avenue, St. Clair Shores. Her Funeral Service will take place on Friday at 10:30 am at the funeral home. Please share a memory of Aliyah at her online guest book.

I remember meeting Aliyah at lakeshores homecoming game and she was fr the sweetest girl I've met. You could talk to her for hours and that day was the first time I met her and I could tell right away she was gunna be the nicest girl I've met. Dear Mara~ I have sat down to post a note for days, but words simply escape. This was a girl with so much energy and wittiness with that little touch of mischief that just made me want to be young again when she was around so I could keep up with her. Aliyah was of course a student at Lakeview High School, she was also friends with quite a few Lakeshore High School students. My daughter & her friends being some of them. I have never seen high schools that are suppose to be "rivals", come to together and support each in such a remarkable way during such tragedies, as Lakeshore and Lakeview students have done. It just goes to show what a strong community we have in Saint Clair Shores. I'am a very proud parent of 3 Lakeshore students, and also feel very blessed to get to know a handful of kids at Lakeview, they are all beautiful people.
May all kids, regardless of what school they go to be there for each other, always, as these two schools have done . ????
Aliyah, you will be sorly missed by the entire SCS community, as you are everyone's child now. ??

I still remember that bubbly little blonde with the twinkle of mischief in her eye, I see in her pictures she still had that. Though we have lost touch, you all, will always have a place in our hearts (I hope you know that) & if you ever feel like sharing, I would love to catch up.
One of the hardest things about the death of a child is trying to figure out a reason for it. We cannot begin to understand your loss, nor can we try to give explanations, or solutions for your grief. I can remember being in grade school (1st-5th) with Aliyah. She was always in her own little world just smiling and dancing in class. Sharing her joy and happiness wherever she went.Aliyah was that person that you didn't have to talk to everyday to know no matter what she has your back.

I only had the pleasure of meeting Aliyah one time after the Snowcoming dance, she stayed at our home that night.
