Fond memories of working for Alex and always look forward to speaking with Alan when he visited the head office on Bayswater, we always shared some good laughs and friendly teasing with him. RIP Alan.

I was Allan's younger neighbor growing up in Highland Park Ottawa in the 60's and today I happen to live in one of the two side by side homes his father built. Last summer he and a friend drove by to see his old neighborhood and and I happened to be outside. We got to say hi and reminisce a bit about those times.
I'm glad he was able to retrace his life steps and he seemed to be enjoying his time doing so. A nice guy. Sorry to learn of his passing.

As children we lived near to each other, went to camp together, and shared a community. Alan was always energetic, sometimes too so, but we'll worth experiencing.
