Lorne, Brett, Elaine, Marjorie and Family,

Cherilynn and I were very sorry to come across the news of Allen´s passing.

Allen was my first manager and business leader out of my undergraduate studies. I have nothing but warm and highly professional memories of our time together at Innoventions and meetings afterwards.

I found Allen very intelligent, fair, a great conversationalist, level-headed, sincere, hard-working, and very-much a people-person as they say.

He was proud of his family, his craft and his cultural affiliations for sure. He gave very prompt and thoughtful advice when we I asked him, and displayed a genuine sense of caring and ease of approachability in all our interactions, and those with others. I still remember the sound of his voice practicing his French language skills...

We thought your father, husband, grandfather, family member and friend was a kind man, generous colleague, wonderful mentor and more. I will remember our friendship and learning what I did from Allen for many years to come.

Please accept our deepest condolences and sympathies, as well as those of Vincent Cavaliere, another Innoventions employee whom I met in 1987 there and who remains a very close former to this day. We hope you are all well and wish you the best in everything you do of course.

First met Allen at Syracuse University band camp the summer of 1960. He played trombone while I played trumpet. We became fast friends and remained so ever since. Celebrated his engagement to Margie at a fancy French restaurant in NYC that neither of us could afford. We had about $1.75 left for a tip and had to slink out of the place. Had many memorable dinners with him and Elaine. Was able to leave a decent tip by then! Love him and will miss him.
