Allen Clark Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jan. 11, 2025.
Donald Allen Clark, II, 61, of Calhoun, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, in Kansas City, Kansas. He was born on January 3, 1963, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Donald A. Clark and Lillie "Ann" Middleton.

Allen was a dedicated entrepreneur and successful business owner. A passionate sports enthusiast, he especially loved NASCAR and football. His steadfast support for the Kansas City Chiefs was well-known; he never missed a game and could always be found cheering enthusiastically for his team. Beyond his love of sports, Allen treasured time spent with family, friends, and his cherished dogs: LilyAnn (Sissy), Karma Jean, and Donnie.

Known for his quick wit and warm demeanor, Allen had a remarkable ability to connect with others. He brought joy to those around him and was always ready to lend an ear or share a laugh.

Allen is survived by his two sons: Joshua Clark (wife Whitney) of Kansas City and Christopher Clark of Kansas City; two sisters: Paula Bucy of Calhoun, Missouri, and Sarah Myers (Jack Scott) of Kansas City; six grandchildren: Dominick, Elliot, Grace, Malaina, Emma, and Olivia; nephews William Tidmore of Richland, Mississippi, and Matthew Myers II (wife Jessicia) of Kansas City; nieces Staci Tidmore Cook of Idabel, Oklahoma, and Alicia Myers Hall of Olathe, Kansas. He is also survived by his dear friend of many years, Matt Myers of Calhoun, Missouri.

Allen was preceded in death by his father Don, mother Ann, and sister Cora Bell.

A Celebration of Life is being planned by his sisters Paula and Sarah. Details will be shared at a later date.

May Allen's memory bring comfort to all who knew him. It's never goodbye-it's just 'till we meet again.

You will always be the love of my life. I miss you so much and think of what could“ve been had we been given more time.

Allen lived with my family for a couple years in High School. There was a time we were very close, Brothers actually. The years passed, we lost touch, occasionally reconnecting and it was always as if it no time had passed. When I heard, it broke my heart. I still consider him a brother. I know Allen will be terribly missed by those who were close. He will be terribly missed by me. "Allen, when you get a chance, look my momma up there in Heaven. She loved you like a son,". God Speed, Brother.
