Mr. Green, I´m sorry you´re not with us anymore, I'm not sure if your son ever told you what you mean to people. When I went to work I tried my hardest to exemplify your exemplary work ethic´. It´s that work ethic that you exemplified in yourself that defined your persona, And it was very natural and the rare instance that describes your legacy. I truly thank you for the qualities that you bestowed upon your offspring. It´s difficult losing a good friend´ father but hardest losing a friend. I promise to watch over Jeff and continue to live with you through him and learn whatever other gifts I was unfortunate enough to have missed! May you rest and enjoy your time watching over us!

My fellow grandfather. Four score and eight years ago, Allen Green entered the world in the Green Mountain State. This month, Grandpa Green departed this world on Green Street in the Palmetto State. Allen lived a long life. I knew him as a hard worker, a gifted builder, and a gardener with a true `green thumb´. Allen enjoyed walking his two, four-footed roommates (who he often rewarded with a `special diet´). As the two grandfathers, we shared a special bond. I miss Allen being in the world. Rest in Peace, Double G. Grand-P.

Al, the two pups and I shared many great chats when he walked up the dirt road by my house. He was a funny guy and always made me smile.

The first time I met Al was shortly after my grandfathers (His oldest brother) death. When I saw him he reminded me of my grandfather so much I started crying. Al gave me a big hug and tried to comfort me. He´s held a special place in my heart ever since. I´m truly sad to hear of his passing.
