Dear Willie and John,
Your Dad meant so much to me growing up. I consider myself so fortunate to have had Victory Lee Stables and your father's skill as a horseman and a teacher.
Bless you both for putting up with all of us all those years.

Dear Willy and John- Your Dad taught me to ride in the most memorable environment imaginable. When I saw him last year he was still laughing about my repeated falls off Kontiki as I tried to master cantering...lots of good memories! I learned a lot and truly appreciated his generosity with me.

Dear John and Family,
Although I never knew your Dad, you meant a lot to me back in the day, when we were young & carefree. I still hold you close to my heart John, and am thinking of you in this time of sadness. My sisters and I send our deepest sympathy. Wish I had known your Dad. He sounds like quite a man.

Dear Willie ,John and family
So sorry to hear of yor Dad´s passing.Lost my mom in 2008 ,also 90 yrs old. So much of my youth was spent at the "barn".I have so many memories I could write a book. Will always remember Nick´s sunny personality .his special whistle and how he would say to my dad,"Art ,I have a telephone call for you " and I wondered ,who is calling my dad at the barn. May he rest in peace.

Dear John, Willie and family,
I am so very sad to hear of Nick's passing. We had so many good times at Victory Lee -- such wonderful memories. I just don't have the words to tell you how sorry I feel for you, you have had your share of loss the last year. Please take care and take care of each other.

So sad to hear of Nick's going home to meet the Lord. He was a wonderful neighbor and friend who was a part of our family's lives for many years. We have wonderful memories of sleigh rides, skiing, and going to the beach on the Cape! We will always remember you! Farewell, Nick. You were an iconic figure in the life of many, many equestrians, myself included. The lessons you taught us remain vivid and strong to this day.
