Alma Jewel Maxwell, 60, of Dallas, Texas, transitioned from this life, into the realm where God is eternal, on November 20, 2012. Alma was born on October 13, 1952, to William E. Voss and Ethel Mae Nobles in McKinney, Texas. Alma attended Hamilton Chapel Baptist Church in Frisco, Texas, where she accepted Christ as her personal Lord and Savior. Alma loved the Lord with all her heart and was a loving, generous, kind mother, daughter, sister and grandmother, who enjoyed traveling, shopping and spending time with her family. Alma graduated from Pinkston High School in West Dallas. She was a nurse aid for several years, and retired from Dallas Independent School District after 14 years of service as a school bus driver. Alma is preceded in death by her father, William E. Voss; and two brothers, Arthur Edward and Aaron. She leaves precious, beautiful and fun-loving memories to be cherished by her son, Cedric (Angie); mother, Ethel Mae Nobles of McKinney, Texas; four grandchildren, Damon, Caderias, Demacio and Kelvin; two great-grandchildren, Zamonte and Raliee; one brother, Fabian Sims of McKinney, Texas; and a host nieces, nephews, relatives and friends, who will all share in the precious memories.
