I would personally like to thank all of you for all your kind, sympathetic thoughts, prayers, well wishes, and concerns for Elaine first and also our family. I was absolutely overwhelmed by the huge patient crowd at Elaine's service. What an incredibly fitting tribute to my wonderful, loving, kind, sweet Elaine. I miss her so much. God bless you all and thank you again on behalf of our family.

Bob and Family. I am so sorry to hear about Elaine. She was a special lady and had a tremendous outlook on life. She always remembered to ask about my children as her and my daughter share the same birthday. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Bob and family, my thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. As you know, Elaine and I go back to our times at Sequoyah and through high school. I have such wonderful memories of here effervescent smile and personality. She was a true delight. As my Mother reminds me, we all had a fort across the street from her house on Glenwood--now that dates the event since the Whites had other ambitions for those pastures.
I also have such wonderful memories of her parents Wes and Mary Jane. When Elaine's dad would whiz around the corner in one of the Rolls Royces that he serviced as one of the few authorized dealers outside of Dallas, it was a parade of running kids wanting to just sit in one of those marvelous pieces of machinery and on the leather seats. It also was a bit jarring thinking of the juxtaposition of that gleaming car in a neighborhood with modest homes. ( I still drive by when I am back in KC) I can still see that smiling face of Elaine climbing in the backseat ( I was one of the few that got that coveted opportunity) and that is the memory of Elaine that I will keep and cherish forever.
Please convey my condolences to Mary Jane and to little Chuckie--sorry but that is how her brother was referenced for me forever. Best to all of you as you celebrate her life.

Dear Bob and family,
"We are so sorry to hear about Elaine's passing. It was alway nice to see the two of you at the company picnics and dinner dances. Bob, You and Elaine found true love earlier than most. Your 44 years of marriage is a testimony to what love, marriage and family are all about. May you be blessed with the love and consolation of friends at this difficult time. May you also be comforted by the loving memories of a life-time that the two of you shared. God's blessings and peace to you and your family.

My thoughts are with you in your time of grief, & I hope your memories bring you comfort. I only met "Mrs. Mike's Mom", as I referred to her, a few times, but she treated me as though she'd already known me for years. For me, a brief memory, but a lasting one of someone with genuine kindness. I have no doubt she will be greatly missed by those lucky enough to have known her better than me.
