My sincere sympathy to the family of Alton. I worked with Alton at Austin State Hospital for years. We shared and talked about often our September birthdays and our dreads. He loved the dinners that we often had and appreciated all the home cooked food. Rest in peace. I know he is no longer in pain. I pray his family will remember the good times with him as I will do such.

Ashara is too young to understand why, but I'm old enough to realize that God called you home so you can be at peace. It's hard to accept that you are gone, but it's God's will and he doesn't make any mistakes. I find comfort in knowing that you are resting now and looking down watching over Ashara, my sisters and brothers, nieces and nephews, other family members, and me each and everyday. We will always love and miss you.
