Carol,Cecile,Barry and all your families: We were so sorry to hear you have lost your dad. He was such a good man and a good friend to Hazel,Ivan's mom. They did so much together - she will miss him very much in the months to come. He was a great neighbor for her. He was also a lifelong friend of my mom, Jean(Maxfield) Edstrom. He and Mary were always in mom's thoughts as she told us many stories of when they were all young in Macrorie - the three muskateers, mom said!
We will also miss him in our Legion as he was one of our core members. He was, and remainded a staunch supporter of the community of Macrorie, always supporting the suppers and the functions going on in the town. He helped our museum out many times when we needed it.
God bless him and keep him - he is now at rest.
