Alvin Wyton Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers from Sep. 15 to Sep. 16, 2011.
WYTON, Alvin James
July 1, 1923 - September 13, 2011
Alvin, beloved husband of sixty-seven years to Margaret Jean, has gone to meet his Lord and Savior. Daddy passed away at the Foothills Hospital following several strokes. He leaves to mourn his loss his sweet "Jeannie"; five daughters, Rosina and Bill Haniak, Bonnie and Dennis Hartley, Dixie and Chuck Dover, Brenda (LaBuc) Wyton and Janine and Dan Duncan. He was blessed to enjoy fifteen grandchildren and was "Pa" to twenty-eight great-grandchildren; as well as many others throughout his life. Alvin's family was a huge source of pride to him and very near to his heart always. He loved his darling wife and their relationship was a shining example of the way love was meant to be! Throughout their time together, they instilled very strong ethics, love, caring attitudes and spiritual guidance throughout their family, extended families and friends. That is the value that we most appreciate in having this awesome man as our patriarch. His words: "Top dog of the whole mangy pack". We are forever grateful to have had and treasured him for eighty-eight years and take comfort in knowing that he has gone to be with his Lord. Special thanks to the Medical Staff on Units 112 and 64 of the Foothills Hospital for their loving care and patience. A Celebration of Alvin's Life will be held in the Chapel of MOUNTAIN VIEW FUNERAL HOME on Saturday, September 17, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow in the Garden of Apostles, Mountain View Memorial Gardens. If desired, a donation in Alvin's name may be made directly to the Alberta Heart & Stroke Foundation (100, 119 - 14 Street N.W., Calgary, AB T2N 1Z6). Uncle Alvin I will always remember the man who held a family together. The closeness of your family has been the envy of most. It was always so much fun spending time doing things with my cousins and Auntie. Memories of much love and kindness.

As a family we were blessed to have known and loved Mr. Wyton a.k.a Pa.
Thank you for always making us feel welcome and loved.
Christmas of 2009 will forever stay in my memory. Mark was remembering the sidecar motorcycle ride. Samuel's best memory of Pa is getting Hershey Kisses from him.
Until we meet again. Charlotte, Mark and Samuel Seehawer.
