Dear Otremba Family,

Thinking of you all, and praying for God's mighty peace to comfort you as you approach the one year of Alyssa's Heavenly journey. Please contact me if you need a shoulder to lean on. You are thought of and loved by many, but most importantly, an Almghty Saviour!

Alyssa, we still havent forgotten.You cross my mind alot and so does your family. Know that my Haley watches over your sister Megan.And we will never forget you. Rest In Peace Alyssa

Though I dont know the Otrembas, I am a parent who is haunted still by Alyssa's tragic end. My heart breaks for her family. I hope some day you can find solace, even if for a moment.

Alyssa i love you and so does your AVHS MARCHING BAND FAMILY. We will never forget you alyssa. Your sister MEGAN loves you alot and so does your family and again so does your band family. Dear Otremba family,
I never met Alyssa or your family, but this story hit to close to home since my family lives very close to you all and have a little sister too. I can't express how sorry I am for your loss but you are all in prayers. I pray that god with five you strength to get through this difficult time. Your precious child is a better place and sure she's watching over you. RIP Alyssa you will never be forgotten.

I knew Scott and Jenny when they first met and fell in love. Alyssa was their first baby girl. My heart breaks for the family’s loss, but I’m thankful God gave Alyssa 15 years with them. She will forever live in heaven and in their hearts. God bless all those who love Alyssa and mourn her death.

My prayers are with the entire Otremba family, along with Alyssa's friends. My father recently passed away. He was in the Air Force for several years and served in Vietnam. I am sure after reading about you, he will welcome you with open arms in heaven and make sure that you are well taken care of, well with the assistance of God, or course.

I am so sorry this terrible terrible thing has happened. My son is a friend of Alyssa's sister and this happening just a few miles away makes it hit very close to home. Today I will hold my children a little tighter. Rest in peace with our heavenly father Alyssa.

Dear Otremba Family,

Though we do not know you all, you are family to us because we are Air Force and were recently stationed at Nellis. We also have recently lost a child. Our hearts break for you. We are so sorry, and we pray for Jesus to give you strength. Indeed, you have a long road ahead of you...seek Jesus, He shall see you through when it seems impossible. Praying Philippians 4:7.

You all are loved. Your Alyssa was beautiful, and she will never be forgotten.

What moves through us is a silence, a quiet sadness, a longing for one more day, one more word, one more touch, we may not understand why you left this earth so soon, or why you left before we were ready to say good-bye, but little by little, we begin to remember not just that you died, but that you lived.
