We are so saddened by your loss. I can still remember little Amanda playing in the yards, chasing after the dogs, and of course, playing with her Barbies. She remains forever in our hearts as well as in yours. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

I am so terribly sorry to hear of your sudden loss. First your father and now your young daughter. Bill, you may not remember me, but my family used to spend summers up at Big Sandy with your extended family when you were very young. As a mother, I cannot begin to comprehend the pain you are going through. My heart goes out to you and your family. You all are in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Berglund Family,
Amanda touched each and every one of us at Wyoming Elementary. I was her 6th grade teacher and I am so saddened about the loss of Amanda. She, being one of the six, holds a special spot in my heart, as each one of them does. We had such a fun year together and I will hold those memories with me forever. Her joy of reading, writing, journal sharing, and her complaints of math are all parts of Amanda that I will remember. Even the mention of her trail of "stuff" makes me smile. Thanks for being such great parents to her and may you always remember the blessings that Amanda brought to us all.

Karen & Bill,
I am very sorry for your loss. I am glad I made it to the wake. I felt a strong urge to appear, even though it has been several years since I have seen you Karen, at a girls weekend. Such a sensless loss. The one bright side- if there is one, is she can hear absolutely everything we all have to say now. No impairments.
My prayers go out to you and your family to get thru this.

Bill, Karen, Alyssa, Andrew, Pat and Family,
Words are hard to find to express how deeply sorry we are for your loss. It breaks our hearts that such a wonderful family as yours has to endure such a tragic loss. Amanda was such a sweet girl and it was amazing to see her blossom from a small child to an amazing young lady. It was easy to see she was a person who really embraced life, always had a smile on your face and was the first to wave over whenever we saw her. This is a true reflection in the way she was raised and the love her family shared. Please take great pride and comfort in that. If there is anything we can do for you, please do not hesitate to ask. May God bless and comfort you and give you the strength to face each new day. Hopefully in time, the wonderful memories you have of Amanda will overshadow this tragedy. Death leaves a heartache that no one can heal, love leaves a memory that no one can steal.
In Love and Friendship,

Dear Berglund Family: Words cannot begin to express the sadness I feel for your family at this incredibly tragic loss of your beautiful daughter. I, too, am the parent of a hearing impaired daughter who was bussed to Highland Jr/Sr High back in the 1980s. She rode in a small vehicle like Amanda did; not quite as far, but it nevertheless was a considerable distance. My heart broke when I heard about this horrible accident. We will pray for you, for sustaining strength during these difficult days to come. God bless you all.

Bill and Karen and the whole family-
I just wanted to say how sorry I was to hear about Amanda. I don't even really remember her, only from when she was little. And the very few times we did see each other since then. But from the sounds of it you did a wonderful job raising her. I know hearing "I'm sorry" a million times does not take away the pain. I guess it is hard to say anything that will take away the pain. Time can only do that. Just remember that you have a lot of people praying for you and now you have another angel watching over you from heaven. I am sure it is hard to understand why this has happened, just try to remember the good times and that God does have a reason for everything he does, no matter how difficult it is to believe. I am sorry we couldn't get up there for the services. I will be thinking about you and praying for all of you to help you through this horrible time.

To Amanda's Family~
I had the great pleasure of knowing amanda as I was an interpreter who occasionally got the opportunity to work with her in the community. Most recently at a class in Forest Lake and also through church. I thank you for giving me that opportunity to meet and know such a wonderful young person. It didn't matter how long between our meetings Amanda was always bubbly and energetic. She always remembered me and was so respectful and appreciative of my services. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Dear Bill Karen Alyssa and Andrew
Im sorry for your loss, but I no it does't help right now. My heart goes out to you, but I no it doesn't help. My prayer's are with you, but I no it doesn't help. At this time, to tell you to remember Amanda, will probably make you sad. The only thing I could say, maybe, to make you feel a tiny bit better, is Amanda will be very sad, to look down from heaven and see you hurting so much. She knows you love her, and miss her. I lost my brother, mom and dad, in 3 yrs, and nothing anyone said helped. One thing that did help was to have my family by my side, when I was hurting. So you have each other. God bless you all

You're in our thoughts and prayers
May this poem console
Little songbird, high in your tree
Will you sing a sweet song for me?
Someone feels a great loss today,
Relay my thoughts across there way.
Sing to them be brave yet strong,
Chirp away such a beautiful song,
With your wings and sweetest tweet,
Bring them comfort solace sweet.
Relay that many others always care,
In your song sung high in the air.
Help them know their pain will pass,
Sing songs of hope in endless mass
Let them know those that they miss,
Yet look down amid Heaven's bliss,
They're now within Gods loving care,
Safe in Heaven, way above up there.
If you do this today Songbird for me,
I'll pray ask God, as you will see
The Angels too may also guide,
Sing comfort aloud right by your side.

When You feel Lonely
When a person you love passes away
Look to the night sky on a clear day.
The star that to you, appears to be bright,
Will be your loved one,
Looking upon you during the night.

As your loved one watches all that you do.
