Amedeo "Jimmy" Molgano, 87, of Utica, who was raised in Stamford, CT, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 14, 2014, at the Lutheran Care Center. He leaves his daughter, Edwina Marie Brady and fiance, Anthony Nixon; grandson, Matthew J. Brady, both of Baldwinsville, NY; and two brothers, Louie and Rita Molgano of Stafford, CT, and Sammy and Marie Molgano, of Darian, CT, and Florida. He also leaves his beloved niece, Margaret "Tootsie" Manitta of Solvay, NY; two very special friends, Frankie of Whitesboro and Sherry of Utica; and many other family members that were also loved by Jim. He was predeceased by his loving wife, Rita. As Jim requested, there will be no services, he will be buried alongside his wife, Rita. Our prayers and sympathies to Amy's family and friends. My Dad, Frank Jr., has shared several warm memories of the times he shared with Uncle Amy as a boy. God Bless you all and may you find strength and comfort in knowing that Amy is in the Lord's Kingdom.

I was Jimmy's case manager with Office for the Aging for several years - it's been many years since I saw him. It brings me joy on this Easter Sunday to know that he has gone home to be with his wife. Peace to him and to his family.
