My heart goes out to Dr. Patel's wife and children. He was a great doctor and took great care of my children Scott Pate and Mike Rutherford. I hope they don't have ear trouble because I don't think I will find a man or doctor as caring, gentile, and patient as Dr. Patel.

Dr. Patel was one of my favorite people. A kind, caring and intelligent man that always left you feeling smarter than before you talked to him. He was a wonderful man to work for and helped teach me empathy and patience. I will miss him and send all my love to his family.

Our condolences are with the family in this time of grief. Amul Bhai was a great person and a loving individual will be truly missed by all of us. Words can not describe how he has helped so many people in their difficult times, and myself in particular, a person who was always there for Hindu temple or community support or any person in need or for his family.He was a great tennis player and above all I consider myself lucky to have met him and get to know him,
My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

Dr. Patel was a wonderful and caring man and was my Dr. for almost all of my 29 years on this earth. I was shocked to find out this disheartening news. My thoughts and prayers are with his family for he will be greatly missed. there are certain people on this earth who make a difference in peoples lives and he was one of them. I would never let anyone else touch my ears and he got a kick out of that. He has performed many a surgery on me and I will never forget him...God Bless his family....

When I am dead, my dearest

When I am dead, my dearest,
Sing no sad songs for me;
Plant thou no roses at my head,
Nor shady cypress tree:
Be the green grass above me
With showers and dewdrops wet;
And if thou wilt, remember,
And if thou wilt, forget.

I shall not see the shadows,
I shall not feel the rain;
I shall not hear the nightingale
Sing on, as if in pain:
And dreaming through the twilight
That doth not rise nor set,
Haply I may remember,
And haply may forget.
