PETRESCU, Amy
Amy (Byrne) Petrescu of St. Albert, Alberta, passed away on Wednesday, September 20, 2017, at the age of 68, after a long battle with cancer.
Amy was predeceased by her parents, Clarence Byrne (1982) and Loretta Byrne (nee Molloy) (1989); her husband Dennis Petrescu (2010); her older brother Tom Byrne (2013), and older sister Louise Byrne Greenlees McLean (2017); her step-daughter Joelene Petrescu (2014); her grandchildren Ashley Petrescu (2017) and Nicholas Drier (2017).
Amy is survived by her daughter Darcy McLean (Darci Tallas), grandchildren Breanna and Tyson Tallas; daughter Chandra Brown (Shane), grandchildren Cherica and Tristan Brown; daughter Miranda Coulson (Jason), and grandchildren Hailey and Josh Coulson; son Brent McLean (Michelle), grandchildren Aiden and Jaxson McLean; grandchildren Tyler Drier and Melissa Fiorello; her older brother Clarence Byrne; and youngest brother Steve Byrne (Barb). Also surviving Amy are many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A Celebration of Amy's life will be held at 11 a.m., on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at the St. Albert Legion, 6 Tache Street, St. Albert, Alberta.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Amy can be made to the Alberta Cancer Foundation.
