Some of my fondest memories as a very young man were with my family at Westwood Country Club in the early 80's. This is when I met Amy. We were just kids having the time of our lives, playing and swimming with a huge group of friends that loved her company as I did. I moved away and we never had a chance to enjoy those memories together again. Over the many years, I would hear the last name and wonder about Amy. Today was one of those days but sadly, it led me to learn of her passing. Thank you for those sun-kissed days of Shirley Temples, grilled cheese sandwiches and belly flops. See you on the other side, beautiful.

Thank you Amy for all the lives you touched and all the people you made smile on a DAILY basis. I first met you in Deerfield Beach back in 2010ish. We laughed together, got mad as hornets together, cried together, but most of all, we loved each others as family should. I shall eat ice cram from the tub in honor of you my big Sister.

My mother was so very saddened to hear just recently about Amy's passing in 2016. Her name is Thelma Smith and she still lives in Leesburg, Va. She was a housekeeper for the Thiesmanns when Amy, Joey, and Patrick were very young and she also took care of the children when needed. She considered the Thiesmanns not just her employers but folks she trusted and treasured. She adored them and really loved working for them. My name is Carolyn Reid and through my Mother, I babysit the Thiesmann children occasionally when my Mother wasn't available and I have a fond memory or too of the lovely, lively young girl that Amy was. Such sad news for us. God Bless the family and our sincere condolences on their loss.

I am saddened to just hear of Amy's passing. I only last saw her when she was 15 years old and we were both living in the D.C. area. Wow, how I wish we would have stayed in touch. God bless the Theismann family for making such an angel to walk amongst us...if even for too short a time.

I am a student at Liberty University and I watched you speaking at the Liberty Convocation on last night. You were so inspirational, encouraging and uplifting. I don't know you, have forever been a great fan of yours and I was sadden to hear of the passing of your daughter. I began to cry while sitting on my sofa as you cried sharing how she passed away six months ago. I pray for your continued strength and know that you have always been a blessing to the world.

Dear Joe, Shari, Joey and Patrick,
Regret that we just learned of the loss of Amy...a sweet and lovable ball of fire who was a whirlwind in a big hurry to live a full life. She was a high energy force of nature whether it was beating the hell out of drums, hitting a baseball or exploring the neighborhood in search of horses. I suspect that she always moved at a high rate of speed no matter what. Please accept our deepest condolences in loving memory of a special and precious child.
Best to all of you always and forever...Betty, Joe, Jody and Jay.

I built Amy's home in Stonebrook Estates. By far one of the most beautiful people in and out I have ever had the honor of working with. A wonderful person, daughter, mother and friend has gone off to Heaven way to early. When I see you again we will build another. Sweet dreams. Gregg Glasser ( now Sarasota)
