Amy Thomas Obituary
Amy's zest for life was evident in her hobbies. An avid thrift shopper, she had an eye for unique finds and treasures. Her love for plants turned her home into a lush sanctuary. Additionally, Amy was a passionate collector, always on the lookout for intriguing items to add to her diverse collections.
She leaves behind her daughters, Holly Thomas, Samantha Cooley, and Jamie Smyly, along with six granddaughters. Amy is also survived by her mother, Lynn McGrath (Edward), her father, Mike Cooley (Donna), her sister, Danielle Cooley Hines, and her fiancé, John Stewart.
The family will receive friends and loved ones at a visitation on Sunday, October 6th from 2:30PM to 3:30PM at Greater Life Church, located at 103 Locust Ave, Locust, NC 28097. A service celebrating Amy's life will follow immediately at the same location. Faith Funeral Services of York, SC, is assisting the family during this time.
Amy will be deeply missed and forever cherished by all who were fortunate to know her.

Life without you, Amy, has been filled with an unimaginable emptiness. I hoped and prayed that one day we could finally reunite and realize the love we have for each other. Now, because of your untimely passing, I will cherish every moment I had with you. A part of me died with you, and my regret for not having the chance to hug you again is nearly unbearable. I am beside myself with grief. Please, Lord, take good care of my daughter. May we one day be reunited in Your Divine Presence and Glory.
