Amy Wanjiru Wanyoike-Stelly, aged 51, passed away on August 21, 2025, in Stephenson, VA. Born on August 13, 1974, Amy dedicated over two decades of her life to education, profoundly impacting the field of computer science learning as a beloved teacher and mentor.

Amy's educational journey began at Beacon Heights Elementary, progressed through Central High, and culminated with degrees from UNC Charlotte and Old Dominion University. Her commitment to education was paralleled only by her devotion to her family and her myriad personal interests.

Survived by her mother, Mary; sister, Rachel; sons, Nicholas and Jordan; daughter, Danielle; and husband, Jermane, Amy's legacy is one of love, care, and nurturinga€"the very qualities she so freely gave to all who knew her.

An avid baker, Amy delighted in creating intricate and delicious treats, often while catching up on her favorite baking shows. Her hobbies also included reading, engaging in Lego projects, and meticulously planning family trips to Disney. She also found joy in diamond painting and various crafts, always eager to start a new project.

A memorial service to celebrate Amy's life will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at Arcola Elementary School, 41740 Tall Cedars Parkway, Aldie, VA 20105. Her life was a testament to the power of giving, and her memory will be cherished by all who were fortunate to have known her.
