Dear family,
I am so sorry to hear that we have lost Amy. When she was here at Western Branch, she was such an upbeat person to be around and such a good teacher. She was very much a daughter to me. For Corey, my prayers are with you in the coming days. Sincerely, Sandy Jory, English department chair, retired; WBHS

Cory-
I cannot express how deep my grief is at your loss. Amy's classroom was right next door to mine at Maple Grove Junior High. She was so friendly and was always smiling. In the short time I got to know her I enjoyed every minute of it. Please know my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

To Amy's family,
I only knew Amy briefly one year at Western Branch before she moved away. I was impressed with her tremendous fortitude and her love for her work. I know she was a special and brillant person, and that she will be greatly missed by many. Much sympathy...

Cory,
I am Luke Koch's dad. His mother (Deb) and I both are both praying for you in this moment. Although we've never met, and although we did not know Amy, we can only imagine how wonderful she was, and how much grace she brought into your life! Although your life can never be the same, we pray that you can always remain united with her in your heart and mind, and heal, with time, to continue on in the way she would have wanted. Warmest condolences ... Hank and Deb Koch

Cory, the Chiappetta family, and friends,
Words simply can not express the pain and sense of loss you are experiencing. Many of us came to know Amy during her battle with cancer and grew to love her for her strength, passion, determination, and positive attitude. Larry and Vicki, what an amazing daughter! Her smile and spirit was unmatched and all of the pictures I have seen of Amy truly reflected her spirit and love of life. Cory, your deep love for Amy and her love for you touched so many of us; that love will continue on and will help you during this difficult time. All of my love, prayers and support as you cope with your loss.

Dear Family,
Our Heavenly Father knows that losing a loved one to death causes us great pain. Your tears are not unnoticed. Although your deep pain will not easily disappear, prayer to God will bring comfort to you as you grieve. The Bible assures us God "is healing the broken hearted ones, and is binding up their painful spot." Please accept my deepest sympathy.
