Ana Maria Ramos

Ana Maria Guadalupe (Lupita) Ramos dejo este mundo para reunirise con los angeles y Dios en el cielo. Fue una hija muy querida, una hermana maravillosa, una madre generosa llena de amor para sus hijos y para todas las personas que la conocia. Decanse en paz.
Ana Maria was born on December 12, 1962 in San Diego, California and passed away on October 23, 2010, in her home in Oxnard, California. She was 47 years old and fought a courageous fight against a rare form of cancer. She was a Ventura County resident since 1975, graduating from Santa Clara High School in 1981. Ana Maria worked for the County of Ventura in the Human Services Agency where she then transferred to the Department of Child Support Services where she worked for the last 17 years of her life.
Ana dedicated her life to her four sons and worked tirelessly to provide for them. For the past five years, in addition to her regular full-time job, she also delivered newspapers to homes in Camarillo for the Ventura County Star and L.A. Times. Ana also provided security guard services at various events on the weekends, and worked for Federal Express.
Ana Maria is survives by her four sons Omarh, A.J. (Albert), Jaime, and Xavier; her parents, Jaime and Maria; her siblings, Francisco Javier Lopez, Maria Elena Lopez, Gabriela Lopez Resendiz, Elizabeth Barba, Leticia Ortega, Lourdes Ramos Quevedo; her godchildren Dillon Ortega and Samantha Ramos. Ana also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
Visitation will take place Thursday, October 28, 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the Ted Mayr Funeral Home, 3150 Loma Vista Rd., Ventura. Rosary will begin a t 6:00 p.m. Funeral mass will be on Friday, October 29 at Our Ladt of the Assumption Church at 10:00 a.m., 3175 Telegraph Rd., Ventura. Burial following at Santa Clara Cemetery, 2370 N. H St., Oxnard.
