Anderson Lee RobinsonMay 20, 1954-October 19, 2009Anderson Lee Robinson was born in Live Oak, FL on May 20, 1954 to the late Jimmy Robinson and Liza Mae Robinson. Anderson attended Suwannee county Schools and graduated with the class of 1972. Anderson joined Springfield Baptist Church at an early age. Later on he moved his membership to Mt.Moriah I.A.M.E. Church. He sang in the choir #2, the male choir, and served as chairman on the Steward Board. Anderson was also the Superintendent of Sunday School until health failed him. Anderson was united in holy matrimony to Lynda Bell on April 27, 1974 and to this union one daughter was born, Lashawn Robinson. The wonderful life of Steward Anderson came to close on October 19, 2009. One Brother James Robinson and sister Irene Robinson preceded him in death. He leaves to cherish his memory a loving and devoted wife, Lynda; one daughter: Lashawn Robinson; a loving mother: Liza Mae Robinson; Three brothers: Leavon(Patricia) Robinson, George (Mable)Robinson, Kenneth (Alberta) Robinson; three sisters; Liza Mae, Jimmie Lou Baker, Mercy Lee(Johnny) Jones; Six aunts: Cora Roberts, Perlie Williams, Ethel Stephens, Mamie Griffin, Elder Rosa Ford, and Laura Ford; One uncle: George (Mercy) Grover: Brothers-in-laws: Aaron Bell, Jr. and Horace(Harriet) Bell; Sisters-in-laws: Clara Hill, Cora (Willie) Owens, Barbara (Braxton) Linton, Sharlene Harris, Annette McCaskill, and Wendy (Walter) Tillman Papa's Girls: Jeannette (Flow) Davis, Rhonda (Murey) Robinson, Shameka Weatherspoon, Dominque Tillman, and Tracy Tillman. Papa's Boys: Guy McCaskill Jr., Johnathan McCaskill, and Terrance (LakeShid) Derico, Columbus Bell. Papa's Children: Trey, Tara, Maiah, de'onta, Denesha, Destiny, Tamohri, Taydre, Te'Darius, Little Guy, Merceta, and Catara. God Brothers and Sisters: Debbie (Larry) Allen, Clyde (Patricia) Fleming, Shawn (Vanessa) Curtis, Calvin (Shirley) Bradley; and a host of nieces, nephews. cousins, and sorrowing friends. Home going services will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday October 24, 2009 at the Mt. Moriah I.A.M.E. Church Elder Floyd Jones Pastor and Elder Matthew Troupe officiating. burial will follow in the Beulah Hill Church Cemetery. The family will receive other relatives and friends Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. also at Mt. Moriah I.A.M.E. church. Final rites entrusted to Eric A. Brown and Son Funeral Home, Jasper, FL.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

I worked with Anderson at Kmart Iknew him as a very kind gentleman,my prayers go out to his family in this time of sorrow ,but Anderson is in heaven without pain or sorrow.

Trusting in Him who always knows what's best and when it's best!! God will comfort, keep, and strengthen you, as long as you allow him to do so. He is there all the time. When it seems like your sorrows are more than you can bear, He is there all the time!!! Love you!!

May God rest his soul. I worked with Mr. Robinson at Pic N Save in Live Oak. He was a wonderful person and very easy to work for. He will be missed and remembered.
