We share the same birthday (im 1983) and he invited a friend and I to the dj booth at the Lizard Lounge and gave me a personal shot out. I was a Sr in high school and it was one of the best nights. Extremely talented and kind man. He is missed.

Back in 2008- he was performing at insomnia and came back to my hometown in kemp, tx. To party and continue djing for us. Dude was full of life.

There are no words. Andy protected me as a kid. He was always the coolest guy. He took the time to make sure a girl from the neighborhood who he barely knew wasn´t hurt one night. I never forgot him for this. Later one we ended up working at Lizard Lounge together. He was epic in every way.

Andy would frequent Free Play Arcade all the time. I worked there, and he would always give me a big hug.....he literally would move tables and chairs to get to me to hug me and say he loves me. What a great guy he was, I would tell him, I love you too bro and I'm happy you're here. The pandemic cut me off from alotta people but I always wondered about him. I'm glad I met him, I'm glad I was able to be a friend to him..he was my friend and I will miss those hugs from him, I will miss him trying to get me to play Pac Man with him at the arcade and I had to tell him "bro I have to go cook, it's busy " lol
I'm bummed out about finding out so late.....Andy was a part of our community at the arcade and our friendship will never be forgotten. I love you Andy, you are missed.

So sad to hear Andy has left us. He is in a better place now.

You are loved and missed. There's no replacing you. One of a kind and remembered always.

WOW! Total shock! I don't get on social media very often these days, but the loss of Andy Szontagh is a completely unfathomable....PS.... GET DOWN FROM THERE ANDY! (smiles) Heaven doesn't allow fist pumps with you standing on the PEALY Gates....RIP ANDY....RIP!

There will never be another one like you with your heart, smile and love of music. The world lost a great man but the Heavens gained a star.

It´s all your fault I love House Music! You were a great and dear friend to Antone and I . You are in a better place now . We were proud at one time in our lives you were one of our best friends . I´m sure you are DJing ing heaven right now . Hopefully you can see Antone now and you guys can be reunited in Heaven .

I´m very sad to see the news. Andy was one of a kind for sure. Lifted countless people up with his energy and sets. "Fly with me to the stars tonight, to a place beyond the sky".

I knew Andy as a teen. He was always so friendly. I literally watched him walk in to a room of strangers and immediately introduce his self. His humor and energy was prevalent in so many cases.

The world needs more Andys.

Andy brought so much joy to so many people. He will be remembered.

Andy was the very first person I had ever met in Dallas Texas! I was helping a friend relocate from Austin and had swung by the Dallas Galleria in search of a new belt. Walked into a store called Signal and there stood my new life long friend! Andy suggested that I check out the Aqua Lounge in Deep Ellum and the rest became history. May his kind, beautiful soul rest in peace. Thank You for ALL of the countless memories! You will be deeply missed. ~XoXo.

I met Andy as I was a dancer at Club 1 and the Art bar...I needed a dancer one day for a street fair at the Art Bar. Andy volunteered and was suchban amazing trouper. We, ve kept in touch over the years and wanted to reunite but never got the chance.. My little buddy you were one of a kind my friend..always love ya.. Feel the Breeze...

I met Andy years ago when I clubbed at the lizard lounge. We were there every night it was open. He was amazing, memorable and I can't believe hes gone Andy you will always and for ever live on through your music and the memories we made P.L.U.R brother!!!!!! I love you!!!!

I remember going to the club just because he was going to be there! He was great! Still have his songs on my playlists! I'm so sorry to the family. My prayers are with you! R.I.P. Andy Szontagh!

Andy, I had no idea your illness was this far along. Your memory will forever live on in the music tracks that you would play each week at Lizard Lounge and all the other venues. You and I had a connection because of your love of music, animals, and people. Thank you for all that you did for the Dallas club scene and for being such an awesome person.
