Big Dre you were an inspiration to me and i´m truly thankful that I got the chance to tell you that in person. You always told me "IF YOU DO THINGS RIGHT NOBODY CAN SY YOU DID THEM WRONG. THEY MAY TRY TO LIE AND SAY THAT YOU DID THEM WRONG , BUT THE TRUTH WILL ALWAYS SURFACE. Thanks for everything bro

We became good friends with them for 3 years my brother Ramone and my mom Tammy and lost contact with the Brown family. I did not know mr. Rosey Brown passed away in 2006. My love and prayers go out to the Brown's family.

I remember watchin Andre on full house he was like a big teddy bear, and I'm sure everyone who worked with him got the pleasure of meeting a wonderful person inside and out, Andre is joining my sister Heather and I know they're watching over us. I wish I had gotten to meet Andre but I am glad that I got to watch his talent on tv. He will be missed and his legacy will live on in our hearts forever.

Well, I was watching Golden Girls and Andre made an appearance, I was wondering who he was and decided to google him. I found out he passed. He was hilarious in the appearances he had made on other sitcoms, like Martin. Someone else said this, he is remembered still and will always be remembered even by people who never personally knew him.

I know its been five years since your loss but I wanted to share something with you. I was watching his appearance on the Wayans Brothers tv show tonight and I recognized him from other shows. I decided to search him on the internet and was sorry to hear of his passing. But here it is, five years later and I was thinking of him. So I just wanted you to know that he is remembered and always will be. I never met him but I was thinking about him tonight. I hope this brings you some comfort.

Andre Brown (Rosey) knew my father from college. He sent my sister a letter about Hollywood when she wanted to become an actress. My father speaks of him fondly and was upset to hear of his passing. Our prayers go to his family. I will let my father know about this. I'm sure he would like to leave his memories of Rosey.

Coach Brown it has been about a year now since you left us...however I feel all the time that you are very much alive in all of our hearts...Jason and I have become a lot closer and I frequently visit debbie and talk over things...man do I miss you and your stories and advice...I am testing with a few different police departments as you probably know...I hope that you and tutino will be up there watching over me when I am on patrol...it seems so wierd to be talking to you here instead of in your house on your coach...well I will come by your grave and visit you soon and I will make sure no knuckle head sits in your chair...i will tell debbie and jason that you love them...LOVE YOU BRO

Now I know why I was awakened at 3:30 a.m. CST July 18th, 2006 in so much pain. I later found out that that was the time of your passing from ‘earth to glory’. Only you, Andre, could have made such a ‘grand’ exit. One such that it would ‘touch me’ physically and I thank you. You always had a way of touching people’s lives.

I am truly blessed that God saw fit to place you in ‘my family’ and the legacy you have left behind for all to enjoy. I really miss the times when we would reminisce: “do you remember…” or “I wonder whatever happened to…” or “remember when we...” Since you have gone on, there have been times when I almost picked up the phone to call you because I knew only you could answer my “did you know…” or “what was…” and then reality kicked in and I realized I could no longer talk to you or hear your voice. Though we cannot exchange ‘audibly’ we can exchange ‘spiritually’.

We still get excited when we see you on the television and there are some ‘roles’ I have seen that I say to myself, “my brother could have gotten that role”. The greatest role of all, however, is the one when ‘one’s name is written in the Lamb’s Book of Life’ and being able to worship Jesus through all eternity and to hear, “Well done, though good and faithful servant, you have been faithful over a few, I will make you ruler over many.”

Love always,

Alona

Andre,

It's been along time since I last saw you. My days at IPD. You were a great influence and friend. You always had a way of making people laugh. Make them laugh in heaven and give my mom a hug for me. Rest in peace. You will never be forgotten.

Bill grew up with Andre and went to Auburn High School in Rockford with him. He has many good memories of him hanging out at his house and playing guitar. He saw him some years ago at their high school reunion and was so glad to spend some time with him again. He was a good friend and great human being and we send our condolences to his family. To the Brown Family and Friends I am very sorry to hear about the passing of your loved one. He always keep me laughing in the movies he played in. His characters always cheered me up when I was feeling bad I would just watch "Money Talks". I know how it feel to lose someone close. May God give your entire family strength to make it through. Blessings, Peace and Love

Words cannot express what a blessing it is to be your Sister. After all I named my daughter after you. I thank God for our time and I will treasure and keep close the many memories we have shared. With the help of the Word of God I will be able to bear this. My nephew Jason looks just like you. I am there for him should he need anything. Love you Andre and I know we will meet again in that great day!!!

Rosie, I cannot thank you enough for the influence you had over our nephew's life. As his favorite football coach you treated him like a son and continued to mentor him well after he graduated from high school. Most people claim they like helping young people but I saw you do it. May God receive you into Heaven and may he also take care of Jason and Debbie through the people you've helped here on earth.

Coach Brown, you are the only reason I continued to play football my junior year. You were there for me when I was having such a hard time with everything. You are one amazing person. Coach you always had my back and your door was always open to listen to whatever I needed to talk about. GOD has one pretty cool angel. Coach you will be greatly missed and always in my heart. I love you brotha. Oh and keep tutino in check and make sure he isnt causing to much trouble up there.

Coach Brown you were my one and only reason to continue playing football my junior year. You always had my back and you were always willing to listen. There is no one else in this world like you. Ill tell you that GOD has one pretty cool angel. Coach I will miss your stories and your funny jokes so much. You will always be in my heart in everything I do. When I need help as a Police Officer you can bet Ill be up at yours and tutinos final resting place non-stop. I love you bro. You will be greatly missed. R.I.P

Andre was the funny, dramatic one. Should have known he'd pursue a career in acting. He kept us laughing and was always making up stuff to scare us. The Sterling cousins would spend the night with the cousins on Rock Street and as soon as the lights went out at night, Andre would start one of his scary routines. I'm glad you got the chance to "entertain" others. You will be missed.
