Andrea DORMAN Obituary
– Andrea Dorman at Hospice Cornwall on Sunday July 28, 2013 at the age of 42 years. Beloved daughter of Marilyn Dorman of Cornwall, and the late David Dorman. Dear mother of Alexander Sage Dorman and Ayden Thomas Dorman. Will be missed by her brother John-David Dorman and wife Lisa; and nieces Emily and Allison Dorman, all of Ottawa. Cremation has taken place and a private graveside service will be held at a later date in Hillcrest Cemetery, Smiths Falls, Ontario. Our "free spirit" is now truly free. A memorial time of reflection will be held on Saturday August 24, 2013 at 1607 Princess Street, Cornwall from 1-4 p.m. and you are invited to bring pictures and stories for a memory album for the children. If so desired contributions in her memory to support the future of her children to "Marilyn Dorman" would be appreciated by the family. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home, 822 Pitt Street, Cornwall. Online messages of condolence may be made in the obituary section of: www.wilsonfuneralhome.ca

John David and Marilyn, I'm so sorry for your loss. Andrea was such a beautiful person. I knew her at first as "John David's little sister". She always had a kind word and a huge smile! A few years ago when I returned to Cornwall for a visit, I had a chance to speak to her at length. She had taken such wonderful care of an elderly neighbour, and she told me she was loving being a mom to twins. She was so positive about life. I realized what a lovely and giving women she had become. Her spirit will live on in each person who knew her. God's Peace to your family. I am saddened to read of Andrea's passing. I went to grade school and high school with Andrea. May your loving memories of Andrea be a comfort in this time of grief.

Dear Marilyn, and John-David and family: We were deeply shocked and saddened to read in the Ottawa Citizen yesterday morning of Andrea's death. Marilyn, my heart hurts deeply for you. Most of our memories of Andrea are as a quiet, sweet, young girl; later we followed her interesting life mainly through Dave's Christmas letters. My heart goes out to you, Marilyn, in your irreplaceable loss. Please remember us to John-David and give him our deepest sympathy also. Nothing any of us say on here will make this not a terrible time...but take faith in the fact that soooo many of us are writing about Andrea with such great memories of a super woman and a fantastic friend. I as many knew Andrea in highschool..she always had a smile a joke and a witty comment. I didn't see her much after highschool but when I occassionally ran into her..she was always as happy and smiling and full of joy. Let her family know that a star has certainly been removed from the sky with her passing. Let her lifelong friends be available to her boys when they have questions about their mom. I hope they see the Love she showed others and how she is remembered by all of us.
